The form fours’ finished their preparatory exams and the analysis is ready. They are preparing for a common evaluation exam starting from 5th of July 2010.
MID TERM UPDATES:
- We thank you for making the Achievers’ Day a success. We appreciate your support which has enabled us to complete two new classrooms (already occupied).
- Our teams in rugby and science congress made it to the Nationals competition held in Mombasa. Our music teams are in the provincial finals which are being held in our school. Our rugby team qualified to represent Kenya in the East Africa games. We wish these teams all the best.
- We thank the Alumni for their support and constant encouragement in our efforts to re-energise Kangaru School. They have introduced membership cards and plan to hold a Kangaru night at the Carnivore grounds on 3rd September 2010.
- General discipline has improved. In this connection, parents are advised to buy for their sons adequate personal effects as well as advise them to curb the temptation of theft.
- We had a very successful weekend challenge. This is a period of intense prayers and self reflections for the whole school.
- Text books have been bought for all the classes and the ratio has improved significantly.
- The geography department plans to have a field trip to Rift Valley on 15th September 2010.We request all parents of form four and form three geography students to support this by paying KES 2000 for the academic trip through fees or bank deposits.
