The students have continued to display exemplary performance in games. Just like in 2010, our various teams have displayed their prowess in games, putting our name in the national and international cadres of sports competition.
In term one games, the indomitable 7 a side rugby team (masimba) and the doughty basketball team (falcons) bounced again to the national secondary schools championships held at Kakamega High school and both emerged position five nationally. The hockey team (hollyx) was not left behind in the chase for slots. They competed all the way to the provincial arena. Likewise, the swimmers also made it to the provincial level.
In term 2 A games, the 15 a side rugby team did it again by scooping position three nationally against all odds. The team was picked, for the second year running, to represent the country in the East African Secondary Schools Games in Uganda alongside winners Kakamega High School and first runners up Mangu High School.
In term 2 B games, the racquets team also jogged their way to the provincial competition but missed to book a place in the national competition by a whisker.
All the other teams also did their best this year.
